Can anyone help me?
My favourite French love poet is Louis Aragon. The poems he wrote to his wife Elsa Triolet are amongst the most beautiful love poems I have ever read. But I can't find them online in English translation (do try to read them though, they have been published in English).

My second choice would be Paul Eluard:

L'amoureuse

Elle est debout sur mes paupi猫res

Et ses cheveux sont dans les miens,

Elle a la forme de mes mains,

Elle a la couleur de mes yeux,

Elle s'engloutit dans mon ombre

Comme une pierre sur le ciel.

Elle a toujours les yeux ouverts

Et ne me laisse pas dormir.

Ses r锚ves en pleine lumi猫re

Font s'茅vaporer les soleils,

Me font rire, pleurer et rire,

Parler sans avoir rien 脿 dire

In English:

The Beloved

She is standing on my eyelids

And her hair is wound in mine,

She has the form of my hands,

She has the colour of my eyes,

She is swallowed by my shadow

Like a stone against the sky.

Her eyes are always open

And will not let me sleep.

Her dreams in broad daylight

Make the suns evaporate

Make me laugh, cry and laugh,

Speak with nothing to say.
Chaque jour je t'aime d'avantage

Au'jourdhui

plus que hier

et biens moins que demain

Each day I love you more

today more than yesterday

and much less than tomorrow.I need a French love poem with an English translation. Can anyone help me?
Not exactly a poem, but a song (a spoken song) of Jacques Brel.

"Je m'en remets 脿 toi"

Pour ce qui est de vivre,

Ou de ne pas vivre,

Pour ce qui est de rire,

Ou de ne rire plus,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

About living or not living,

I'll leave it up to you

About laughing or no more laughing,

I'll leave it up to you

Pour ce qui est d'aimer,

Pour une part de chance,

Pour ce qui est d'esp茅rer,

Ou de d茅sesp茅rance,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

About loving,

About a part of chance

About hoping

Or about despairing

I'll leave it up to you

Oui mais,

Pour ce qui est des pleurs,

Comme autant de cerises,

Pour ce qui est du coeur,

Qui se tord et se brise,

Je m'en remets encore,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

Yes but

About the tears

Like as much cherries

About the heart

Who writhes and is broken

I'll leave it up again

I'll leave it up to you

Pour que ce soit demain,

Plut么t que le pass茅,

Pour que ce soit l'airain,

Plut么t que le laurier,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

About being tomorrow

Instead of in the past

About the time of bronze

Instead of the laurels

I'll leave it up to you

Pour que ce soit la vie,

Plut么t qu'une saison,

Pour qu'elle soit symphonie,

Plut么t qu'une chanson,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

About all the time of life

Instead of a season

About a symphony

Instead of just a song

I'll leave it up to you

Oui mais,

Pour accrocher aux branches,

Notre amour qui vacille,

Pour briser la faucille,

Du temps qui se revanche,

Je m'en remets encore,

Je m'en remets 脿 toi.

Yes but

To hang up on the branches

Our wavering love,

And to break the sickle

Of the Time who takes his revenge

I'll leave it up again

I'll leave it up to you

Tu vois, tu peux faire l'茅t茅,

Tu vois, je peux porter l'hiver,

Tu vois, on peut appareiller,

Tu vois, on peut croquer la Terre

You see, you can make the summer

You see, I can carry the winter

You see, we can get under way

You see, we can crunch the EarthI need a French love poem with an English translation. Can anyone help me?
