I've been asked to do some translation of cartoons in English from French - what is the going rate per hour?What is the going UK rate for audio transcription and translation for French into English?
If you will be self employed you can make your own rate. Try not to price yourself out of the market or under price as people would think you are no good...weird i know. As its a very skilled profession you could as a good rate but one that pulls people in. Prehaps 拢20 an hour or do it by the word. This can be better as people will have a definative price, the other way is a bit hit and miss for pricing.What is the going UK rate for audio transcription and translation for French into English?

I don't know about cartoons; but Eng-Fr or Fr-Eng written work is around 拢6 per 100 words.

Please Translate these sentences without using a English to French Translator because an English to French Translator translates just the words without getting a real sentence.

its not the exact words that are translated but that how u talk in french, u know, like not every word has to b translated it just has to make sense

Why would a person who is fluent in French in Paris not be able to speak French when in Belgium?
She was able to function in French in the United States and in France, and in fact, later acquired a PhD in French-English translation. If you were fluent in North American English and later went to Australia, would you not be able to understand the Australians? From my own experience and observation, the Belgians tend to speak a very high level of standard French that is easy to understand. Why would such a person have difficulty in understanding the speech when in Belgium?Why would a person who is fluent in French in Paris not be able to speak French when in Belgium?
That sounds very odd indeed. I have friends who have worked in France and Belgium with French as the working language with no difficulties.
