What is the average price you would charge per source word for French-English translation?

I am getting into freelance translating. I am new to the industry.|||5 cents ( no bullcrap)|||$0|||At least fify dollars.|||0 fluent but go to google and type translation and click the first thing its great|||I'd do it for free. Je le ferais gratis.|||I have paid around $0.11-$0.21 per word. Lately, I have been paying around $0.14/word. What you charge (in this range or above or below it) might depend on how large the job is and how complex it is (whether it involves scientific translations, medical terminology, etc.) You could also charge a higher rate per word (closer to $0.21/word) and not charge for repeat words, etc.
