French-English translation rate?

I'm trying to find freelance translation jobs this summer, but I haven't yet finished my translation degree. I know companies often hire translation students in the summer because it's cheaper for them. If I were to put an ad out, how much is reasonable to charge per word?|||If you advertise yourself as a student, it will be expected that you charge between 0.10$ to 0.15$ per word, depending on the complexity of the translation.|||translation is tough, you may need to finish that degree because even native speakers and masters levels have difficulties with the work. not to be negative, but try teaching first. there is abundant work in teaching second languages, especially in summertime positions.
