A simple french to english translation please?

Hi there! I need a translation for French class, and I cannot find it anywhere! What holiday is le Novel An? And NO, I do not mean le Nouvel An, I know that that is the new years, but apparently le Novel An is a holiday as well... I just don't know which one! Help?A simple french to english translation please?
There is indeed a French word 'novel' which means the same as 'novel' in English. But it doesn't make sense with 'an'. Your teacher is not only French, she is human, and therefore prone to the errors that humans are bound to make. Errare humanum est. Cut her some slack.

Probably someone typed it up for her, made the mistake, and she corrected it but forgot to take out the wrong version.
"Novel" is not a word in french. I don't know why you're so convinced that this is different from le nouvel an, because it sounds to me like it was just a typo.A simple french to english translation please?
I agree, novel is not a French word. You must be thinking of le Nouvel An. I've studied French for 10 years and I know that le Novel An doesn't exist.A simple french to english translation please?
It's called a typo.
There is no such French holiday as "the Novel An".
